Screening of “Saving the Chattahoochee”

October 23 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

During the 1990s, the Chattahoochee River was named the most endangered urban river in North America by American Rivers, a key conservation group. “Saving the Chattahoochee,” a new documentary by filmmaker Hal Jacobs, tells the story of the dedicated Atlanta women who fought to revive and protect the Chattahoochee River and its watershed.

The screening will be followed by a discussion panel featuring women environmental leaders.

“Saving the Chattahoochee” is sponsored by Georgia Humanities.
